March Break Updates
Hello everyone! We hope that you are all practicing self isolation and that you are enjoying some unexpected family time!
A quick couple of updates to share:
Mme Harris and Mme Craig
A quick couple of updates to share:
- With a tentative agreement for OECTA, we are able to communicate via this website again and are planning on sharing resources and updates here on this website! We may add tabs to the site with some learning opportunities for the next 2 (possibly more) weeks.
- For those of you who we have emails for an invitation to Epic Reading was emailed to you. Our class has an account at school and it is now free for parents until the end of June!! This is a great resource where your child can access thousands of books to read or they have a selection of "Read to me" books as well. There is a selection of french books and we can assign books to our students to read as well. If you have not received the invite for the resource please feel free to email Mme Craig at [email protected].
- Blog post to go up over the weekend of our learning since February!
- Digital portfolios will be updated and shared over the next couple of weeks as well. It is a google slide presentation of your child's learning journey throughout the year.
- Know that we miss you all so much and that we want to make this as familiar and easy as possible to keep the learning going!
Mme Harris and Mme Craig

Date: Friday December 13th
Time: Around 1:30pm
Clothing: Students are to still come to school wearing their colour dress code pants and a Christmas shirt. Girls may wear Christmas dresses. They may wear Christmas accessories to go with it (i.e. Christmas head band, Christmas hair clip, Christmas tie/bowtie, Christmas earrings, etc.).

Thanks for checking out or website and looking here for our weekly update, we survived the first week of SK!
We are patiently waiting for the agendas to come in, as soon as they arrive, we will send them home! In the meantime if you have a message, please send in on a notepaper in the agenda bag and we can use that to communicate. Please continue writing a message if your child has a change in their dismissal routine. If we do not receive a note about a change, we will dismiss your child as per their regular routine that you provided us (bus, pick up or YMCA). Lastly, please remember to bring in $5 for the agendas!
**Please note, for our school dress code, the colours are navy, white and khaki with no labels or branding. Our newsletter had included grey, however it is not one of our school colours. To clarify, our Spirit Wear has a grey sweater which would be acceptable as it would have our school logo on it, but only grey if it's the spirit wear sweater.
